Eurocargo SL button

I have recently started a new job running palletised goods round Liverpool,I am using a eurocargo, we have 3, all of them have a switch with ‘SL’ on, I have asked the other drivers what it’s for and gone through the whole handbook and can’t find anything.
When pressed nothing comes up on the dash and nothing seems to happen anywhere outside.
It’s driving me mad not knowing, anyone ?????

If I remember rightly, the SL switch on Eurocargos with an autobox turns the speed limiter on and off (not the 56mph one unfortunately!) so you can set a speed the truck won't travel faster than unless you press the accelerator to the kick-down position. So you could set it at 50mph for average speed cameras for instance instead of using cruise control. On our manual Eurocargos it's set via the right hand stalk and shows an orange "km" inside a circle on the dash when activated.
