Hi, 1st time poster in Commercial Break so Thankyou in advance of any advice you can offer.
I obtained my category C,C1 and D1 in 2005 after taking two separate theory and practicals as I needed these categories at the time in order to apply to become a paramedic. I wasn’t successful after twice applying and knocked the idea on the head.
Subsequently I have not ever used my additional categories to drive professionally.

Been thinking recently on utilising my C category but as you now need to have a valid CPC in order to even apply for positions could someone tell me how I would go about getting one?

Do I really need to do theory and practical tests again in order to Obtain a CPC Card? Or can I just complete 35hours of modules through a provider?

Thanks all.

Just 35 hrs as far as I know as you already have the entitlement to the licence.
The farce is you can do the same module 5 times .
I would certainly recommend the drivers hours module , it's the one thing that all new drivers have doubts over - and many that should know better .

35 hours needed - make sure each 7 hours is approved for both LGV & PCV
