So, have walked away from 09-11 plate Hiluxes due to injector concerns. L200's have head gasket issues I don't want to get involved with; Nissan - Renaults in disguise; leaving me the agricultural liquorice all sort mutt of the dog home - the Isuzu.

Therefore, am wondering if anyone runs one here and how they get on with their 63-65 plate 2.5 model?

My daughter runs a 63 plate automatic. I can't bring myself to like the auto box but she loves it, on and off road. Other than the auto box, its the best modern pickup that I've driven, better than my old Ranger which I loved. Her boyfriend has a 64 manual Isuzu, It doesn't feel as torqey as the auto but its still a nice truck. I've driven one of the newest twin turbo ones, only 1.9l but 150bhp. You can feel the 'lack of cubes', you can't feel the 150 bhp.

Injector concerns !!!! when ??? we ran the first d4d hilux to 300 k was miss fueled once at about 200k the only major issue was the diff failed due to the casing rotting which let the oil out !! newer one was sold at 240 k never had or heard of injector problems
mind not hard to fit not that much cost either ...

its a hit and miss problem; supermarket fuel is a major contributor.
