Best panel van for £1500-3000
Discussion
I need to get myself a van asap and reliability (well, as much as I can get in the price range) is important. I've set a budget of £1,500 to £3,000 and will step up to £3,500 for the right van. There would have to be very significant additional value to bump up to £4,000 but it's not outwith the realms of possibility.
I install wood burning stoves and I need something with a long MOT that will last me at least a year. At that point I'll look seriously at leasing something new and will be VAT registered. The van also needs to look fairly presentable so I'm not really expecting to find anything suitable towards the lower end of my budget.
Size wise it needs to be Vauxhall Vivaro at the smallest to something in the H2/L2 range at the largest. I don't need a monster panel van but, equally, a long wheel base Vivaro style van would be better and give me a little more space.
On which models should I focus my attention? There seems to be a lot of Vivaro's in my budget but a quick google search of "known issues with Vivaro's" did give me some cause for concern.
