Morning PH

I'm looking at purchasing a van, and these (along with the Peugeot Boxer and Fiat Ducato) look like good value for money. I was looking at Sprinters and Crafters, but I'll be hiring it to the sub contractor I'll be working for, but they don't pay as much as I thought they did, so looking to pull back on how much I spend on a van.

I'm looking around 2013 models, with typically 100k on the clock

Anyone got experience with them, or can suggest anything else I might be over looking?

Cheers

Anyone have

The problem with the Boxer and Relay around that time was that they used the Transit 2.2 EU5 engine and that had an issue with oil pump failure. I'm not sure if there was a recall to fix this but if buying one of these vans (or Transit of the same age) you should look to see if either the oil pump or the entire engine has been replaced under warranty.

The Ducato has Fiat's own 2.3 engine and I don't know of any problems with it, and it's slightly more economical too.
