Hi all, bit of an odd one. My wife recently purchased a 63 plate Berlingo which is brilliant but has a mystery phone noise.

Every so often you can hear what sounds like a phone ringing when driving it. We have looked in every cubby hole we can find to no avail. There are also no phones paired with the Bluetooth and the ringing continues with the radio on or off. We have had the van for about a month now so I would have expected any phone battery to have died by now.

Finally, it isn't my own or my my wife's phone ringing 😀

Not the biggest problem in the world but a bit of a mystery -any thoughts?

Does it have an aftermarket bluetooth system? The 'Parrot' brand system in our Kia died a couple of years ago, but still occasionally chirps, chimes, and says "LANGUAGE" at completely random moments. (The control unit was ripped out, it's just the box left, linked to the radio).

Does it have traffic master in it? One of mine has it and the occasionaly ring to try and get you take a subscription with them, there's usually 2 fuses behind the glove box that disables it.

Does it have a sat-nav fitted? Mine did it, figured out it was a speed camera warning, and it did it when the sat-nav was disconnected as well.
