As title. I'm looking for the smallest van I can buy that is able to take 2.5m length in the back to at least halfway up the bulkhead.

I had a 2005 Vivaro Lwb years ago. This was a good size so I'd consider another. It was a reliability nightmare though.

Did any of the Citroen or Peugeot vans smaller than the boxer have that load length?

How about the newer transit custom?

you can get 2.5m in the back of the ford connect with the small opening in the bulkhead and the passenger seat folded down, if its pipes your looking to carry it will do the trick

New Custom will do it as will SBW Transit. Certainly take an 8' x 4'. Think theres a slot in the bulkhead that lets you put longer items through under the drivers seat (3m pipe etc)

Not pipes i'm carrying so the connect is too small.

Sheet materials and crates, so if the custom can take an 8' x 4' I'll look further into that.

I've just had 7 8x4 sheets of 100mm Kingspan in the back of my SWB custom, they have to go on a slight angle though and the van has to be pretty empty. Definitely bigger than my last Trafic though. My mate is a flooring contractor and carries loads of ply, he bought a lwb custom as he reckons a SWB is no good if you carry it all the time.

I'll have a look at both the L1 and L2 transit customs then.

Anyone know if the smaller (than relay or boxer) Citroen or Peugeot vans have 2.5m in the back
