In need of good advice after my car was stolen

I've had my car stolen, let's think, what shall I do? I know I'll register on a car forum & ask where I stand as the insurance company (at 2.30 AM) are "only" looking into it! I'd be bloody impressed if my insurance company even answered the phone in the middle of the night let alone investigated a crime, I thought that was down to our BiB.
