As from today all goods vehicles over 3.5t must be fitted with classV +VI mirrors .
So we can see the idiots throwing themselves under our front wheels.
Also must be fitted with side gaurds .
Who knew ?
Who got done at 9 30am on park lane within sight of the blond plonker giving his all for the press .
Ho hum😠

Very strange that most in the trade have not heard about it until the day it came in ,only seems to be known in London.
Certainly the wrong way to inform us based away from the capital ,not quite as bad as the change in Dart charge .
What happened to informing us via NATIONAL MEDIA .
Another money making scheme ?

So if it's a 3.5t safety zone, what about jumbo transits and the like that are 4.5t. One article I read said that all lorries should be as low as vans, but there are vans that are now both sides of the "safety" line. Does it include sub 3.5t vehicles towing with a gross train of 3.5t+?

Most 'van like' baby hgv iveco daily & bigger sprinters etc will be exempt if you look at the tfl link.

https://tfl.gov.uk/info-for/freight/safer-lorry-sc...

But yes odd first I heard about it was on Tues, only a puddle jumper & in the exemption list, but still will need the side guards.
