I've managed to land the job of replacing the nearside door mirror on my G/F's parent's motorhome. It's based on a 2010 Ducato. Mirror itself was surprisingly reasonable (£96+VAT from a Fiat dealer!), but I'm looking for advice on how to go about getting the old one off & this one on. Has anyone ever had to replace one of these?

Usually involves removal of the door card or the speaker /cover at least , carefully prise the plastic cover off at the corner of the window where it meets the door trim to reveal torx fittings , be careful not to drop the mirror onto the door panel .

Cheers, will need to just take my time removing the door panel. I'm having nightmares about broken plastic clips when I take it off...

A plastic spatula or a trim clip tool is the best To use.
I use what everyone refered to as a ken tool .
if i told you what it was I WOULD have to terminate you !

Managed to get this done yesterday, thanks for the advice. The mirror itself was dead easy, but the wiring was a pig of a job, had to take the speaker out & shift the plastic part of the door card to get at the connectors.
