I've got a little 7.5t lorry which I use as a race truck, that means it's stood around for weeks at a time.. Anyway I came over to where it's stored today and it looks like the mice have moved in! Little chocolate sprinkles everywhere and some chewed sleeping bags and pillows!
Probably not something regular drivers have to worry about, but anyone else had similar? What did you do to prevent them making the cab their new home, bearing in mind if I set traps they'll be left for at least a week till I come here next..

Ive seen a fair few mice nests in or around trucks over the years. You best get rid of them as they can nibble through wires.

Best get a Cat biggrin

Well I've hoovered it all out, removed all the bedding and laid some traps so we'll see what happens

I had best of both worlds - a Cat sleeping in my 56 Chevy for a while - no expenses for me as I don't own a cat. It was getting in through the holes in the floor and kipping on the front seat.

I have a spare cat if you want (I will go halves on postage). Let me know what colour you would prefer?

Traps are best as you will know where they are at least. Given how small they are, the smell is not usually too bad and at this time of year the cooler temperature helps as well.
