CPC Card stop check

Has anyone even pulled up to see it they have a CPC Card yet?

I was pulled last week. Just checked the tacho charts and asked to see my CPC card. On my way in a couple of minutes. Sort of glad I was stopped as it means they'll hopefully catch those without!

I was pulled into Holyhead last week and asked if I had my card. Went to get my wallet out, but he just wanted to know that I had it. He didn't actually want to see it. No checks on the motor or the digi card.

When pulled in January at Ferrybridge they asked if I was doing mine , I already had one but he didn't want to see it , still went through everything else like a dose of salts .He was a bit miffed he couldn't nick me for anything , three week old wagon,200kgs under the limit, and on returning my digi card commented "you don't take any chances do you "

As the bloke who gets stopped endlessly.....I haven't been stopped for a while.

I even managed to avoid a pull as I passed the layby thingy on Chelsea embankment last week when they were

active in there.

Carry my CPC card just incase.

BTW....my stupid manager when asked by the stupid driver said the card should be put into the tacho.
