I am after a company who diagnose truck faults on site, ABS faults etc. I believe they are called Truck Tec maybe, but all the searching I have done comes up with nothing. Thanks in advance for any leads.

It depends on the fault you might have to take it to a dealers.

Thanks for the replies, Ill try car2comercial and if not Ill have to go back the dealer. Its already been to two dealers, they reset the codes then could not get it to fault again. Wasted 8 hours dropping of and picking up plus the trucks down time. By the time we get the truck back the ABS light has come on again.

So in other words they have done the job correctly. You have just had bad luck that it's a intermittent fault. Once they have cleared it they can't do much until the fault shows again.

Your not doing yourself any favours taking it to a new place they will just do the same again. At least if you go to where cleared the code they already have a history of the issue and know it's a active fault rather than one from 6 months ago.

What vehicle is it ? Where have you taken it so far ?

Because if you're based around Ashbourne then there's a strong possibility that its a Tarmac scheme lorry, or a dust tanker or something similar.

My Mrs works at Longcliffe thou as it happens, I hate the road in a car and only ever done in a 7.5t for a firm I used to work for.

And then I was awaiting the bang of a tipper mirror.

Since its been reopened its far better - wider and with crash barriers on the outside. Before the last accident when it was closed for improvements it was very different down there, with the road being too narrow for two full sized vehicles to pass, even experienced locals who knew the craic.
