I'm told that my St. Johns Ambulance First Aid qualification would count as a days worth of CPC training, but the firm doing the CPC training say not. Does anyone know the correct answer and if so how to make it count as a CPC day?
Thanks.
Is the course dcpc approved and delivered by a dcpc trainer who works for a dcpc provider? Thanks.
did it last at least 7 hours - breaks not included?
If yes and you had to produce your driving licence for the uploading as well as paying extra for the dcpc admin and upload then it can be counted for 7 hours dcpc
I used this when I was doing mine as it was easy to lose track of how many hours I had done seeing as I spent most of them asleep

It was a 3 day first aid course with an exam at the end. I'm the first aider at work but nothing to do with CPC. I've been told by 2 people that it would count as a day, one of which said get onto the DVLA, so I've emailed them.
Did you present your driving licence to the trainer at the start of the course and have the dcpc paperwork done ? - if not then it did not count for dcpcUploads for a dcpc course must be done within 5 working days of the course
