stobart/jenkinson groups place an order for 1500 trucks over the next 2 years. guessing they will get a decent discount.

They also run the F1 logistics, own a ferry company, a coach company, an airport, a legal firm and untold amounts of property all over the place. Probably other stuff too

Blimey. And there's me thinking my company's order of 16 Scanias was big! It was a big deal in as much as the fleet has always been solely MAN I suppose.

Why the change away from MAN? Reliability issues by any chance?

Improved MPG figures. All 16 now on service on our South-West operations which is where the best MPG was seen on the trial.

Better chance of me seeing one now then! Must look quite smart in the livery smile

Saw one of Jenks's new Streamlines earlier today and caught one of Stobarts for a photo last week. Tidy machines smile
