Truck edition of 'questions you've always wanted to know the answer to' thread.

- Why is the load area of dray wagons narrower at the top than the bottom? confused

- What is the reason for the fixed barriers, traffic lights, cctv cameras and 'road closed' signs prior to one of the roundabouts on Faraday Avenue at Hams Hall? confused

- Why are the clips that hold in the ashtray panel broken on every fking MAN artic? mad

(3rd question not serious btw hehe albeit true)

No it's not, it's the electical cutoff light, they have to cut all electrics when discharging, light off batteries are isolated.

Designed that way to hug keg loads. The primary trailers are the same, they just don't look as pronounced as dray/secondary/retail trailers.

Why don't you have chemical loo's in your cabs?

I'll hold back on my other question as it would just be stirring really.

scratchchin Not sure although I was aware of that. I was down there again last night and wondered if it might be cars from the BMW plant going across the roundabout down to the rail head perhaps? Don't know if they make cars there but the BMW plant is one side and the rail head is the other so.. ? They must be a recent-ish addition as they don't show up on street view.

No car production at Hams Hall: IIRC it's an engine plant smile
