Masternaut tracking - anyone know what the display means?

I'm doing some driving work for a company using masternaut trackers. I've seen the reports and route replay in the transport office, but I don't know what the in-cab display does.

Most of the time I swipe my fob every time I start the engine and ignore it. I was out with a van boy the other day and he told me that when it flashes red, that's when the office are looking at you. I'm not convinced. Also, the entire graduated red-amber-green display flashed a few times. I've asked in the office, and they claim to have no idea. I'm not bothered, just curious.

You can remove the black plastic surround (carefully as they can snap the lugs off) and then disconnect the 8 pin plug from inside and just reassemble. The unit still operates but you have no sound or lights flashing. My vehicle has one.

The office get data in real time and can also look at any events: speed, g force etc....

They are way too sensitive though. I have never been questioned on my driving since it was installed, but prior to disabling the unit, it used to bleep all day, flash in the red etc. The things are f'kin useless. If you're near heathrow, I'll gladly disable it for you - the office won't know as it still works for their data, just disables the warnings and audio in cab.

I'm in a different vehicle every day, so disabling it's not really an option. Also, without the initial beeping, I'd forget to swipe the fob, and then the office are on the phone telling you the van's moving without you in it.

The fob is specific to you as the driver, so if the office get any tickets or require info on who was driving what vehicle at any given time, they have the data etc. Basically, yer royally f'ked!!
