No wonder foriegn HGV's seem to have a lot of accidents.

Always seem to see a lot of blind side knocks involving foreign trucks. One of them went past me on the M25 tolls this morning, around 4 am, with a screen up on the dash and looked like he was watching a film.
Always see them driving along, practically with their legs up, nearly on the dash.
I find it amazing.

Yup years ago, my car on the back of a relay wagon on the M26. German HGV went past, drivers feet in the window & lappy on the dash watching a film. Oh & we were doing 56MPH & he went past us at around 70MPHAlways see them driving along, practically with their legs up, nearly on the dash.
I find it amazing.

Even if the driver is competent LHD trucks are not easy to drive in the UK, the blindside is on the same side as faster traffic on multilane roads and entering roundabouts can be a nightmare in a Daf XF for example.
They have an easy solution to that..................they just pull out!Nearly got wiped out by one at Edmonton the other day, when he decided to pull out.

Don't they have that auto driving thing that Homer can't keep a secret when he drives a truck across the US?
Probably. A while back driving down the A406, saw an orange Scat Co artic had winged a car and was partially blocking the carriageway.
About a mile down a similar truck from the same firm had done the same on the opposite side.
