I have been out of the transport game for a number of years now, but when i was on international work in the 80s and 90s they put us to shame then, massively, and from what i understand nothing has changed.
I dont envy you lads but i definately take my hat off to you..............Good Job!

Only driven to Spain twice by car but was impressed how clean they are, the operators of the fuel stations have to clean the non-fuel areas (or so i heard) the French tolls are expensive but the Spanish ones are cheap
Also, the roadside signs give fuel prices for the next 3 or 4 srvice areas, and theres one radio frequency from Calais to Le Perthus for traffic news in French, English and others

Christ dont even get me started on this one!!!!!
UK services are utterly f*cking useles compared to European ones. Some cracking ones in Spain, amazing food with plenty of 0% San Miguel!!
Up until a few years ago I used to do regular runs to Morocco in a LWB Iveco Daily, all over the place down as far as Tarfaya on the Atlantic coast (which is about level with Fuerteventura), mostly to Marrakesh though.
Even in the most remote place the fuel was the same price and you were given a warm welcome, fresh hot food and clean toilets and showers, all for the same cost as a town centre shop, no £4 cardboard cheese sarnies or £18 just to have a kip!!!
Also struck me when on main land Europe that at every service area or picnic area in France and Spain all the cars still had the Sat Nav in the windscreen with the windows/roof down, in this country it would be gone in seconds, says it all really about this rip off country!!!
