Its deceptively small but its actually the same size as a SWB low roof transit and it is the replacement to the tranny. biggrin I've only sat in it (not even offered a test drive) my first impressions are that its been designed by someone who's never seen a Ford Transit before. biggrin It really does look different in every way inside and out other than the engine is exactly the same as before. I thought the seats were hard and uncomfortable and the whole dash looks vulgar and cheap. I don't know if I can be bothered to ask for a drive, I'll probably just buy another Mk7 before they all go.

When we use the transits at work we have to fill in a survey thing from fords ,the comments on this new one have all been on the side of negative, also our test lwb mk7 high speed special blew up again when on the way to Poland and has been recovered back to Fords and scrapped (62 reg 90k miles)

I had a bucketfull with my mk 7 I would be very reluctant to buy any ford with that 2.2 engine, the new custom looks very average and peugeot expertish!! Van buying seems to be a minefield now, non of them seem to be quality or built to last and they all have electonic bull sh and DPFs so anything out of warrenty is a no no, so looks to me like the best bet is the cheapest on leese with maintenace and just give it back at the end of the term ...
