Van insurance. What are you paying?
Discussion
Hi,
What is going on with Van Insurance?
I can't get anything below £1200 TPFT for commercial purposes.
The only thing I can find is around £400 TPFT for SD&P. This allows me to keep my Van for myself.
But I can't use it to do any form of paid work.
I'm nearly 38 and have 14yrs NCB on my car but 0 on van.
I can get cheaper insurance (fully comp) on a £80k Porsche GT3!!!
WTF Is going on with Vans?

Also mine is a business use policy, maybe thats why? - I have no idea how it works, i'm convinced it's just a random number sometimes.
I just tried with Octagon. They want £701 for TPFT and they are unable to quote for fully comp. That's with putting down Carriage of Own Goods.
