First Time Van Man
Discussion
So I need to buy a van, my Budget is about £1500, yeah I know, but I also have to buy allot of equipment for my business startup. I'm thinking FORD TRANSIT CONNECT, or maybe VW Caddy, I would appreciate some help on the matter on how reliable these two option's of van might be, or maybe you could suggest a best buy van for my budget.

I bought a Seat Inca on Wednesday night as a "stand in" after my Discovery Td5 sold on Sunday evening,
53 Plate with 90k, clean bodywork and interior, mechanically perfect. All in all a genuine bargain, seller asked £700 as she no longer had any use for it, I never even haggled as I didn't want to insult her
Added bonus, 3/4 tank of fuel, and a parrot kit thrown in with the deal
It's largely exactly the same as a mk2 Caddy van (they were made in the same factory) save for some slight changes to the interior trim and front and rear bumpers.
They are a bit of a bargain in comparison to the VW too.

Interesting, I did not know that about the Seat Inca, but does make sense now you mention it.53 Plate with 90k, clean bodywork and interior, mechanically perfect. All in all a genuine bargain, seller asked £700 as she no longer had any use for it, I never even haggled as I didn't want to insult her

It's a wise move if you are on a tight budget, many people don't realise that it's just a rebadged caddy
It's SDi (non turbo) only but they are amazing on fuel and tbh they will do 70 mph easily so fast enough.
Best buy for a cheap van IMO, VW mechanicals at less than Ford prices
Thanks for the help, lucky for me my uncle was a VW Commercial Van Manager for VAG group and ran a dealship in kent, so I will have to see if he can do me a Family deal, so to speak. It's SDi (non turbo) only but they are amazing on fuel and tbh they will do 70 mph easily so fast enough.
