Your lucky, 1/4 tank? Not unknown for our guys to bugger off on rest days and leave the fuel light burning.

Got to work on Monday at 4 am and had to go walkabout around the yard to find my unit. Eventually found it over the back STILL coupled up to a container, loads of rubbish from the weekend in it and needing fueling up. Just what you want to start the day off - lazy fkers!!

To cap the day off my worksheet had been tipex'd. A sign that someone's been in the office and picked out their work from other peoples jobs. furious

Rtn'd to work after nearly 3 weeks off to the same old st.

Truck needs fueled (on shunt work so didn't bother but they do need to be kept topped up if they go down the road)
Red tags on rear axle as a visual sign it needs to go to the garage to be retorqued (tags are very dirty now so been on there a while ffs)
Dirty windows and mirrors and some dick has sprayed that shiny crap on the dash getting loads of overspray onto the windscreen.

Asswipes.

All that jazz

Being self-employed it doesn't bother me whether the regular driver has left it fuelled up or not. If it hasn't then I fill it up and just add 30 minutes to the invoice. hehe

I get this when I come back off holiday, the other driver who does my round will not leave it fuelled up, nicks my pens and generally doesn't do the work so I also end up with lots to catch up when I get back furious

Well as i said at the start of this thread i was goin to be as petty as him and leave it empty, well due to driving time issues and the choice of gettin back on a fri of nighting out on a fri, i chose to get back and well there is more in it than he left me with, but just had the phone call for monday and that lorry is now mine.

So monday when i get back its havin a proper wash on the outside i reckon.

Depends where i fill it up, last week at our local station, i popped the hose in and went for a dump, came out and it clicked off literally as i walked out. ( i heard it)

To be fair its probably only 5/10 mins by the time you ve pulled in, gone to hand your card over then filled up etc. the annoying thing is the way i see it is 10 mins at 56 mph rather than 10 mins at a pump.
