I'm having a bit of a to and fro with Balfour Beatty at the moment.
In the last few weeks, the signage for the works at the Almondsbury interchange, has been crap. In short, there have been instances where no signage has been posted at all, and the first any driver knows of a closure/diversion, is to arrive at the cones.
Anybody else had an issue there?
The most annoying incident for me so far, was coming off the M32 onto M4, then southbound onto M5 split. They had placed cones closing the M5 South, and everything had to head north. No warning at all. I don't think I was alone in being annoyed at having to drive to J14, turning around and driving back down to the M4 and heading west to use the M49. I mean, it's only twenty odd miles for nothing.

I have issues with all the road closures to be honest, what happened to contra flows ? The M5/M4 split is a right fking lottery on which road will be closed on any given night. Don't even bother trying to call the HA as they are as much use as their matrix signs!

I think you're right.
I've spoken with the HA, who referred me to Balfour Beatty. They have numerous signage, both hardware, and electronic, and aren't bothering to use it.
