Hello Pistonheads, I'm a long time reader, first time poster. I'm hoping somebody here can pass on some advice. About 3 years ago I was diagnosed with nocturnal epilepsy, following this I surrendered my driving licence, as required. I got the licence back 12 months later having been seizure free for that period. When I surrendered my licence, I was a HGV driver, and at the time I thought my HGV driving days were pretty much over as there is a 10 year wait to get the licence back or a 5 years if medication free. However I have heard there are going to be some new proposals for nocturnal epilepsy driving regulations to bring group 2 licences in line with group 1, which will basically allow me to drive HGV's once more. Could anyone clarify if this is correct as I would love to get out of this 'office job' and get back on the roads. Any help would be gratefully received.(apologies for the long-winded first post!)

Thanks, I'll post there too, or at least I would if I didn't have to wait 14 days, damn me for being a newby!
