Very nicely put together selection of clips of some beastly sounding Scannies! ears

Love the T580 Tag slowing up to give it a few revs in the tunnel in particular at 9.30! nuts

Did someone mention Scania and V8?!

I'll admit to not watching the whole 34 minutes though!

Never driven a Scania but I'm told that I'd never want to drive anything else if I do.

think there a great looking truck, but personally think they are over hyped. personal preference i suppose, but i'd much rather have a daf, or a volvo before a scania.

Agree with that, i loved the 143, cabs are to comprimised to be a good truck now, the v8 sounds nice though ill give it that.

I'd have to disagree, had a DAF CF Space cab, XF95 Space cab, 105 SSC for a few days and I'm on my 4th Highline Scania now, and I'd happily take it over a 105 DAF, even a SSC,

I don't like DAF driving position, awkward switch layout (hazard light switch in middle of dash above ashtray) irritating warning buzzer, over sensitive ABS warnings, hopeless mirror and side window arrangement, massive blind spots in XFs, they are beginning to really show their age now, only positive thing I'll say about a DAF is the bed is comfy, but spending 2-3 nights a week max in it, I'd rather drive a lorry I'm happier with and sleep in a bed that isn't quite as good

Everybody always raves about the 143 but I wasn't that impressed with my Streamline, but I loved my 124 420 Topline in DHL yellow.

Would love one of these, if they ever build it...doesn't have to be a 1000 V8, a 750 V8 would do.

i drive a scania now , but i would much rather have a volvo .
it just all comes down to personal preference but i find volvos much more comfortable to drive .
in my mind scania comes second with merc third .
daf just feels like a big heavy haulage thing i always imagine you have to be big truckie type person to want one , i have had one to do spain with and just didnt like it at all .
like i said its just a personal thing

I thought the truck looked awesome, until I saw what you posted, and now it's all I can see.
