Trucks in Ice Road Truckers
Discussion
Its been a while since I watched it - but the last few series have all been the Blue cabs havent they? I think when it first started the guys had their own trucks didnt they? (or at least they belonged to that Huge Roland chap IIRC).
Can't answer the question - but I'd imagine they are a big fleet deal with the mining company.
Interested to know though.

There is only really 2 makes of truck in the US/Canada, Kenworth & Peterbilt. Kenworth are well known for being rugged so i guess would be an obvious choice. You sometimes see a Western Star or Freightliner but usually its one of the former
Freightliner is about the bigest in the big fleet market, some sort of tie up or owned by daimler crysler, volvo are realy making inroads not sure but about 12% and rising... powerstroke said:

Exactly, in the big fleet market. You don't very often see them with small fleets or owner operators. Gassing Station | Commercial Break | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
