After tomorrow's shift I'll put in how much fuel I used and what distance was covered.


Might be interesting for us sad bds who get turgid at the thought of double figures in their fuel consumption. Feel free to post yours too.

I had thought this sort of format.

Could add weight if known to show differences in a fuel economy reading.
A truck running 44t nion all day achieving low 8's to 9's is good where as if it was on light work such as parcel work you would probably expect double figures.

Mpg 10.08.Rtn to base with the Empty Malt van boosted it a bit.

This'll make you cry if you had to pay for the fuel.
Volve FM9/10 waste collection multi pickup in and around London: 3.3-4.9mpg

Ive had between 5mpg and 6mpg average on a 390bhp 8x4 tarmac tipper. Some of the other figures here seem quite frugal by comparison.

Volvo FM10 450 - 61 reg...

Leeds - 2 drops in Newcastle - back to Leeds.

12.3 mpg. Very good!

That's actually not as bad as I thought it would be considering the trailer. On our normal 14'6" trailers with super-singles it's a lot better than that.
