increase in cars doing 50 mph on motorways

What i find is most who are sat at a constant 50mph or similar are well aware what they're doing so when you pass them they flash you back in... No issue passing them, only the same as passing another HGV.
It's the ones that are sat at around 50mph then you go to pass them they put their foot down and leave you hanging so have to pull back in. Half a mile down the road you've caught them up again. Repeat process. Drives me mental tbh.

I don't drive an HGV by any means, usually a 4x4 with a 18' flatbed trailer and usually a vintage car of some description on, what really gets me is when you come across a MLM doing >60mph, they won't move over into lane one regardless of the huge gaps that there usually are and I'm not allowed into lane 3 with the trailer.
I'm contemplating fitting some big spot-lamps on the front or an air horn to hopefully grab there attention.

Compared to going faster. As long as your at least, say, 1500rpm in top, going faster will cost more in fuel.
I'm not arguing for it, but it isn't a pointless activity.
I know it varies car by car, but I'd say the majority of cars driven by these numpties would probably save fuel by driving faster than 45 mph, as most cars are most fuel efficient at 50 odd mph.I'm not arguing for it, but it isn't a pointless activity.
But yes, I know you're not on their side

What about the tossers that pull out on you, plod along at 25mph , when youve lost all your momentum, they fking wake up and sod off
Its worse when your going along at 80. (i need a run up to keep momemtum up a hill), and then someone moves out to overtake. Lets say your in a 2 lane road, the guy on the left lane is doing 69, and the guy overtaking (pulled out infront of you) refuses to speed at all, so wont go over 70. At 1 mph faster, it takes about half an hour to get past!Gassing Station | Commercial Break | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
