Hi everyone,

Turns out mine is leaking. Cost from a dealer for a new one: £330 (that's part only BTW). Cost of a cheap one from auto-doc: £41. I don't think I've ever seen such a difference in a dealer price vs aftermarket, but that's not the reason for the post!

I looked for the Haynes manual for this car but it seems they don't do paper manuals anymore, and the preview on the site gives almost no information about what I'll get access to once I pay the fee.

So I'm wondering is this going to be worth it? Am I going to find out what steps I need to take to get the condenser out, or should I not bother because I can simply work it out from inspection? Thanks to the car being popular in India there are a few YT videos on the subject, it might be enough.

If anyone can give me a link to the workshop manual (in any language) I'd much appreciate it.

Many thanks,
Simon.

If you are changing the condenser you will need to extract what gas is left in the system and obviously recharge once the new condenser is.
I'm pretty sure there is nothing there. It's not a slow leak so I think it's all long since gone. Unless the system has more than one chamber or something?
