Anyone have any useful info?
It's too cheap. A classic if it's too good to be true it probably isn't?

That's £2p/l for a fully synthetic oil complying with Renault specification RN17.
The next cheapest from a known brand is around £6p/l
I'm not tempted but interested if anyone knows anything? I'd imagine getting all the individual manufacturer certifications is not a cheap process.

If it meets all the specs then it's fine for your application.
I'd maybe change the oil a bit sooner personally but it's cheap enough to do that.
I've normally overlooked it but my normal Vag oil of choice Quantum has shot up recently so may buy some Mannol next time.
Does it though? The title reads like an Aliexpress title where they bang every key word they can in in the hope something lands. I'd maybe change the oil a bit sooner personally but it's cheap enough to do that.

I could stick a VW505 sticker on some sunflower oil, doesn't mean anything.

Nothing wrong with Mannol, have used it before, when buying in 20 litre barrels oil is frequently under 1/2 price of 5 litre bottles.
That's true but it's well over £100 cheaper than any competitor.I'm convinced there's something dodgy about it.
Unfortunately all the youtube oil analysis type channels haven't touched it apart from one dodgy one that tells you nothing.

They are on the radar within the industry.
Cheap, non approved base oils are giving an issue in the industry at the moment with some sellers stating specs that the oil doesn’t test well against.
Good quality product costs, unfortunately.
Is it tested against those specs at all? I seriously have my doubts. They are on the radar within the industry.

Interesting to note Westway get several mentions too. Another super cheap oil.

I‘ve used Mannol (and Formex, which is occasionally a bit cheaper still) for years without any issues.
The stuff I get is 5W 30 Dexos 2/LL04 spec.
I wouldn’t worry. It’s the frequency and specification that counts, not the bloody brand.
