Stainless welding
Discussion
Is anybody in the midlands willing to do a bit of welding for beer tokens.
I purchased a second hand exhaust and the centre muffler internal perforated tubing has come loose. It’s not getting fitted until it’s sorted so as to make it easier (and the rattle would drive me mad).
It’s a relatively cheap exhaust so I should have checked more carefully but being cheap it would be great if it could be fixed for favours.

I fixed this issue on my friends bike a few weeks ago. I used a stick welder (2.2mm mild@60A) to reach down the pipe and tack the perforated bit back onto the can.
Was easier than I thought and is very well attached. It may rust in the future but its inside the can so doesnt really matter.
