My kitcar with twin side draught webers, has stood for 6 months, is hard to start and is bogging on acceleration

Had a quick google on cleaning the jets - I have but TBH it all looks clean

However one video said a quick test is to hit the throttle with the cap off the accelerator jet 1 and fuel will come out

It does on the other 3 but not on 1

I have swapped the jets - same result

He said the fuel comes via 2 (obviously I have removed it's cap)

If I squirt fuel in 2 it comes out of 1 but no fuel is entering 2

So what do I need to clean now ?

A drilling must be blocked - probably time to strip it down and run it through and ultrasonic cleaner

I googled and they suggested blowing carb cleaner through with an airline

I can blow it backwards from the jet into the bowl but no petrol comes out of the bowl to the jet

I can't get my airline in, to blow it that way - but it suggests the hole is open but the pump isn't actuating IMO

Way back when I last had a downdraft webber, the accelerator jet pump was pushed down using the throttle and was returned with a spring - is the plunger stuck down on the problem carb?
