If you're a MicroSoft Windows user you could scan them into Onenote or similar, which will store the images together with any notes, and also do OCR on them.

Would be interested to see anyone elses approach - I have an spreadsheet showing:

- What was done and when (i.e. chronologically)
- Each service item, when last done and interval and then expected due date based on service interval or mileage

For resale I summarise the chronological bit in the add and print a copy and retrospectively fill in the service book - alongside including any paper receipts.

I have a similar spreadsheet.

I also record the MOT and service record from before my ownership. That means I can time things like ATF changes based on history, and absolutely definitely isn't so I can have a graph showing cumulative mileage over time...

I know some have experienced the joys of used car dealers who throw away the service history citing GDPR, but it's worth checking if you can sign up for an owner account with the manufacturer. For a Lexus I signed up for the free owner app and it had a decent amount of information on service history there, dating back to the original delivery date.

I keep the receipts in a folder and have a notebook, I hand write in this with date, mileage and what was done. Not very technical, but does the job and it’s easy to show or hand over to a new owner.
