Just wondering what the best website is to find salvage parts in the UK?

Currently looking for a trim piece for an Audi, and the cheapest I have found is £240 which is crazy expensive for a bit of plastic.

Can't find anything on Ebay. Tried Facebook marketplace but it's full of people who don't respond when you send an enquiry message. Is there anywhere better that I could try?

Things like 24/7 spares, breakerlink, parts gateway are all online parts providers.

Put the place and part details in and your request goes out to hundreds of breakers who will quote if they have one available.

Albania, thats where 80% of the uk's stolen cars end up being taken to prior to being broken for parts.

Bits always seem to be for sale on facebook marketplace and eBay.

Have you priced it at Audi? Sometimes main dealers are surprisingly the cheapest for certain parts, especially if said part is uncommon.

I personally wouldn't bother, the place is full of very well picked over utter wrecks, they are cheap for a reason, they charge to look round & can't tell you whether there is even the car you are looking for on site.

Synetiq in Doncaster are better.

Stick the part number into eBay, normally that's where I get anything I need.

I got a long engine and some bumper corner trim pieces from ASM Recyling in Thame.

Website lists car makes & models, and you can search by parts too.

Have emailed a couple dealers, but no reply yet. May give them a call and see what they say, although not had a good experience before unfortunately

Tried that. Only came up with overpriced or incomplete parts sadly

Yeah they haven't got the car I need on their website (which wasn't that easy to navigate)

Synetiq have the car I need (an S7), but it's a pre-facelift unfortunately. And the trim is different on those
