Hi

I know brake cleaner , thinner do remove or weaken under-seal or at least I use them to remove unwanted under-seal and also heat if needed

Question is, i want to spray hard to reach areas and the spray comes with a nozzle/ extension but my compressor at 90 psi can’t seem to get the under-seal sucked up and through the pump.

Would you mix thinner or white sprite? Wouldn’t that weaken the underseal

I always put the 1 litre bottle in hot tub for a while so it flows easy from the gun but still won’t flow out of the extended bit

I have one of these guns

Which sealer are you looking to spray with this gun?

Ive always used white spirit, helps to warm the product too in a bucket of hot water, maybe try warming the gun vessel too but thats quite tricky.

The extension tube is for waxoyl type products not underseal and even then you'll probably have to warm the waxoyl up in a bucket of hot water to get it thin enough spray.
I wouldn't attempt to spray underseal through it

that should spray out the gun without thinning

if you need to use the extension nozzle thats for waxoil type products , you dont underseal inside cavitys etc

Waxyoil is the black stuff like bitumen right?

If so you stating you don’t need to spray cavity/ areas one can’t reach?

If so you hat do you use to protect those areas from rust?

waxoil /cavity wax is a thinner sometimes clear or semi transparent wax that flows when warm to coat inside a cavity like a sill , mostly sprayed out of those lances

underseal/shutz is thick black goopy bitumen stuff used from a gun like you have to spray under the floor pan etc , often used to hide or cover up badly rusty cars

The white / transparent oily stuff does same protection? If so what is the point of bitumen?

Just to add when I was waxyoil sprayed my car I really needed to heat the waxoil, I had a blower heater aimed at the metal 5ltr tin, it flowed and sprayed best when the whole tin was way too hot to touch - I dare say this made things interesting when drips fell down and found skin.

I tend to use it inside the arches as it is good for a bit of sound deadening too

A can of dinitrol ml or similar with a long extender, I did the full length of my sills so you should be fine for the width of a subframe
