Hi. I've been having trouble with the break lights on my Peugeot partner van. Started with one of the brake lights not working. Now when I have my lights on the brake lights are on constant apart from the small top break light which does light up when I press the brake pedal. When the lights are off on the van the brake lights work when the brake pedal is pressed. Any help? Tia

You have the bulbs in 'upside down'. Take them out, rotate them ½ a turn and refit. You will find that they fit somewhat easier that way too... the pins are offset up and down in relation to each other... you basically forced them in.
To get both wrong took some doing!

Thanks. Will try tomorrow 👍 I don't understand how they would work then stop working all of a sudden?

Correct, and you may well find if you look carefully at the light cluster you may JUST see that the other filament lights up when you press the brake pedal but as it is much less powerful it will be hard to tell the difference.
