Windscreen wiper blade not touching screen - Peugeot 107

I have a problem with my peugeot 107 wiper blade

The centre portion of the wiper blade doesnt make contact with the screen for most of it's travel

The wiper arm itself looks ok, and it seems to be providing some pressure against the windscreen

I changed the wiper blade for a bosch one today, and I've cleaned the screen using autoglym fast glass a few times, but it's still the same

I don't know if there is a problem with my wiper arm.Visually it looks ok but maybe someone else can spot something wrong?

Can’t tell from your pictures, but is the blade 90 degrees to the screen, some times the arm needs a little twist to get it square on, makes them work a lot better.

There's a flat bit which adapts the knuckle for the blade. Needs a gentle twist to push it closer to the screen:
