Good after market brands?

Replacing a EGR valve on a 20 year old Mondeo, other than complete trash I'm only finding Hella and Starline, are these companies making good quality parts?

Working a ford parts department (5 years ago) we used to buy from impex and transit parts for cheaper parts.
Most were ford parts with the logo ground off as they were not sold as "ford parts"
They were a lot cheaper and factory parts

Hella are well known but I'm mot sure on the quality tbh.
Starline I've heard of but not something I'd go for unless desperate.
