M140i water pump interval
Discussion
I have a BMW M140I, auto, 2017, 52000 miles.
I've had a small coolant leak for a little while and had it in the garage recently. I've been advised there's a small leak from the water pump and that it will need to be replaced.
I can't seem to find info on the water pump intervals online.
My questions are:
What's the average lifespan of a water pump on this particular car?
Would anyone advise using radweld or something similar to seal the leak?
Thanks in advance.

That will likely be because a water pump isn't necessarily a routine change item. Yes, if it is cambelt driven it would most likely be changed with the belt, but in itself a water pump isn't necessarily an item to change every X years/Y,000 milesI can't seem to find info on the water pump intervals online.
