2013 plate
Model XJ (X351)

I have 2 sensor warning messages coming up:

1-front tyre pressure sensor
2-washer fluid low level sensor

What would be the cheapest way to get these fixed? I have changed then tyre in question as well as fully topped up the screen washer fluid but sensor errors have not gone away.

Any guidance.and tips would be deeply appreciated. I'd cheapest place to get replacementsensors and have them fitted. Many thanks in advance

My X350 suffered constantly with spurious errors, a lot of them seemed to disappear with a new battery, have since been told that because of the reduced charged from the old alternator the reduced voltage of the old battery could through up random error codes, Not sure I fully believed that but never under estimate the need for a fully charged battery to power up all the different ECU's before she cranks over..

The tyre pressure sensor may be faulty or simply the battery has gone flat after 8 years. The other 3 are probably near end of life too. Most large tyre shops have the ability to fit new sensors and code them to your car. Should be able to test the iffy one and replace it but brace yourself for the other 3 following soon after.

The washer fluid sensor may be gummed up depending on the type. Empty the tank and fill with warm (to near hot) water, let it sit for a bit to steam clean.

Thanks. Is there a way to check if the current alternator has reduced voltage?
