Citroen c2 2006 display not holding memory

Hi, I took out my cigarette lighter to clean it as it was a bit rusty inside, when I put it back in and connected the cables I heard a slight noise, the lighter unit works ok, but now my display won't hold time or date, when I put the key in and start the car the wipers work intermittently but they are not turn on and also I cannot open boot unless key is turned, anybody any ideas please, I've checked all the fuses
