Have you tried replacing the key battery?

Have you tried the solution noted in the video? Disconnect the battery for a few hours and see if that helps.

yes tried replacing the fob - I will have a look at how I disconnect the battery - I am not very savvy on stuff like this so I will see if its in my skills. The car battery was changed in December. One thing I have noticed is that occasionally when it does start the clock has reset and the radio stations that have been presaved have gone - once the car starts its fine there are no issues. I wonder if it is an issue with the battery.

Spot on that’s what it was. The guy who fitted the new battery had barely tightened the bolts. Cheers

From my understanding. The keyfob, when holding it up to the start button does not use the internal battery of the key. Its design to be used when the wireless start fails due to a flat battery. And then there is that its both keys.

You cant imagine a more simple job.
But the people you pay still manage to mess it up.
One bad apple and all !
Is there no pride left anymore!
Can you at least not leave a review on the workmanship?
