D.I.Y roof bar foot kit

So I bought some roof bars. And it stated the maximum speed I could do is 55mph. Not good when you do a lot of travelling so here is my alternative. I'm going to fit some nyloc nuts on top of the m10 nuts just in case vibration causes the nuts to loosen off. Will this work. It feels rather solid.
