Steering Vibration on approaching full lock - Help me Please
Discussion
Hi ph'ers
Can somebody please help me
My steering wheel vibrates when approaching full lock either to the left or right side and whether going forwards or backwards
One mechanic said it would be the strut tension ers so had these changed but still there. Does anybody know what's causing this to happen
Can somebody please help me

OP, what car, what age, how many miles? You may find that this is simply due to old PAS hydraulic fluid :. drain PAS fluid ensuring all old fluid is drained. Re-fill system and force bleed by slowly rotating steering through complete movement left and right. Keep topping up fluid until at correct level/all air bled.

If its a VAG car, this is often caused by a seized one way clutch on the altenator...Can somebody please help me
