Euro Airline Couplings

Has anyone had problems with the "O" rings popping out of the female connectors on this type of coupling?

Had a nightmare today trying to swap tools about and every time I had to re-seat the ring before I could get anything to connect. Is it just a case of cheap couplings, or a known fault with (hopefully) a cure?

Incidentally, of the two I tried I had issues with both of them.

I think it may be cheap couplings, I bought a det of reasonably cheap couplings recently and have had the same problem.
