Batter impact guns
Discussion
My two year old Milwaukee impact gun has dies. To be honest I'm not really too sad, I was never that impressed with it. The blurb when I bought it stated 610Nm blah blah. From nuts it won't undo I'd say it managed 200Nm. Then there was the issues of the batteries that refused to charge after 6 months, I emailed Milwaukee asking about this and they didn't even bother replying. Both the batteries have since recovered and work perfectly now.
So now I find my self needing a new gun and Milwaukee have a new model out that claims over 1000Nm torque and over 1400Nm nut busting torque (whatever that means). My past experiences with them has put me off a bit but now the batteries are working perfectly so I have two batteries that I also use with my drill and I find my self tempted to gibe them one last chance.
What do you lot think or recommend for professional usage? I only went for Milwaukee in the 1st place because I have used another particular tool made by them for years without problem, they are the industry standard to some extent.

They were the rolls royce of power tools when they first came out but as anything the quality seems to have declined.
I used to buy nothing else when i was a site worker but would be unsure now.
I cant see there being an issue with the latest gun though, stepping up to something like a snap on item may be too expensive for no better performance.
Having good working batteries for it is a bonus as thats where most of the cost is.

Firstly sorry for the glaring spelling mistakes, my monitor is the TV screen during the summer and not best situated for me to watch whilst typing.
I have been given the go ahead for the Ingersoll unit if I want it .
Interesting feedback on the Milwaukee unit it's just after two years semi pro usage my old one broke, I'd rather spend more on something more capable with longer life span.
Thanks for your input, much appreciated.
