I am thhinking about refurbing my wheels as they are looking tatty.

my thinking is
sand down
repair damage
etch primer
filler primer
normal primer
paint
laquer

is the normal primer neccesary with the etch and filler? do i need the etch as well or just the filler?

or is there a better order?

I have to say, that is a lot of time & effort to go to, especially when you can get them done professionally in powder coat for around £50 a wheel.
