Mk6 Golf 2.0 Coolant lose

i have been loosing coolant from my golf for the last month now. topping it every week or 2. there are no visible leaks.The oil doesnt appear to be contaminated and there is not white smoke coming from tail pipe. the car has done 35k miles and had a remap 6months ago. was wondering if anyone had any advice.

I've heard of water pumps leaking on these.
The pump is hidden away and a small leak often accumulates on the engine undertray so hard to spot the resulting small puddle.

If it's the 2.0 TDi then water pump

Cam belt driven so change the belt too

hi thanks for your reply. my only problem i have done a test with the blue dye on the expansion bowl and the liquid changed to green detecing combustion fumes
