Seat Ibiza Cutting out

Hi all,

Just purchased a Seat Ibiza 1.2 2002, the engine on the car seems to cut out on start up, to get it going I have to Rev it for a while then it will be fine. Just wondering if anyone would know what this would be down too? I have recently replaced a couple of bulbs on the car if this is an electrical fault?

I know nothing about cars so any help would be great!
